As I sit to write this post, I can’t quite find the words for the bliss that alpaca’s bring to my spirit… They are divine creatures that spark an imaginative journey and a playful heart. We’ve been blessed here on Kannah Creek with a wonderful herd of these darling creatures, including their guardian llama family, and every day they bring us joy and delight. Babies prance, chase and bounce. Mamas care for the little ones, taking turns with day care duties. Boys, well, boys will be boys… Even their alarm call, a sound that conjures the image of a dog chewing on a squeaky toy brings more cuteness than one can possibly handle. We love our alpacas!
